This Immersion Programme was held at La Catita during the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of September 2006, with children from Villegas, Cutral-Có, 9 de Julio, Casares and Venado Tuerto


Almha’s Interview

LN: Why did you come to the programme?
A: Because I wanted to teach people about Ireland. And I love to act silly.

LN: Do you like the kids?
A: No, I hate them. I want to eat one for dinner.

LN: Do you play camogey?
A: I played when I was young.

LN: What places have you visited in Argentina?
A: Buenos Aires, Catriel, San Martin de los Andes, La Niña, Nueve de Julio, La Nancy


Leprechaun Interview

LN: Did you steal something?
L: Yes, Teo’s Gameboy, Fernando’s coins and all the candies from Fernando’s car.

LN: Did someone find you?
L: Before you, no!

LN: Do you hear the things we say through the vents?
L: Yes, I couldn’t sleep, but I found the Gameboy.


Camp Interview

LN: Are you enjoying the program?

Teo: Yes, because it is funny.
Mauro: Yes, alot.
Terecita: Yes.

LN: Which counsellor do you like best?

Teo: I like Hannah best.
Mauro: I like them all.
Terecita: Lesley.

LN: Do you like the food?

Teo: Yes, I loved it. It´s like if God made it.
Mauro: Yes, it was very good.
Terecita: Some of them.




Silvia’s Interview

LN:Where are you from?
S: I am from Neuquen.

LN: Do you like teaching English?
S: Yes I love it.

LN: Do you like the other teachers?
Yes, I really like Monica. She is great.

Fernando’s Interview

LN: When did you start organising Emersion programs?
F: In 1998.

LN: Why did you choose this farm?
F: Because I like it a lot.

LN: Why were the counsellors all girls this year?
F: Because only girls wanted to come to Argentina.

LN: Why did you start organising Immersion Programmes?
F: Because I think it’s great to learn English through fun.
